Yes the 6K peak is there but it can be tamed with some very easy EQing if really wanted, revealing a solidly clear performer with such a neutral signature as to almost sound arid, if it weren’t for that modest but decisive midbass dry coloration and treble airyness granting a world more of engagement, but taking all care to not even coming close to imposing a definite personality.

Then, with a process in the end quite similar to how final E4000 sucked me in, while listening to some genres with other IEMs I noticed where such latter drivers were lacking vs my memory of the “other” T4 parts, and I called them back into service. The very first time I auditioned them I almost hated them as I was assaulted by their 6KHz peak which made them come accross unacceptably bright even while playing a treble-friendly genre such as bebop. TIN T4 is one of those IEMs that can generate, idd generated mixed emotions, at least to me. There was no change in sound quality (either for better or worse). Just to test, I did a burn-in of these earphones for over 72 hours (continuously). Oh, also, I personally believe burn-in is a myth.
(The Monk Plus are comfortable and very comparable in terms of sound quality to T2 plus). Personally, I prefer the earbuds to IEMs in terms of comfort for long listening sessions. But this is one area which varies from person to person. The sounds across all frequencies are clear.Ĭomfort is quite good compared to other IEMs. Overall, neither the bass or treble is high. The Mee M6 Pro audio is not as good as T2 plus (also, the left & right are reversed). The LG earphone sounds too low and is uncomfortable. The comparison itself is probably flawed since the categories are different - over ear headphones, on hear headphones, IEMs and earbuds.Ĭompared to the other IEMs that I have, the T2 plus wins hands down. Sound quality of this T2 plus seems to better than all of these (even if in some cases the difference is not too much). (I do have other earphones from LG, Sony, etc, but I'm mentioning only the better ones here). My collection includes Mee M6 Pro, Sennhieser 4.40 BT, OneOdio Pro 50, OneOdio Pro 10, VE Monk Plus and now this T2 plus. (Although, a pouch would have been good too). All of the color separation tables and CMYK ICC profiles have been re-written for improved CMYK printing results.The build quality is excellent! The packaging is also good.
